Around 40 select invites only for this exclusive Diwali Celebration Dinner by Cartier.
The 5-course tasting menu curated here was designed to reflect a modern India. Using top end, premium local ingredients, our chefs crafted authentic yet modern dishes to celebrate the glory and rich heritage of regional Indian cuisine.
Lux Destination Indian Wedding
Location: St. Regis, Doha, Qatar
We executed a glamorous Indian wedding over 4 days with 5 meals daily. Over 700 guests attended from India and other countries.
Along with a talented brigade of 25 skilled chefs, diverse themes were created for every meal – showcasing regional, live-interactive action stations, carvery, freshly prepared, a-la-minute dishes. This was a showcase of regal and traditional cuisine along with contemporary recipes, decadent desserts and more, all carefully designed to enhance the guest’s overall experience.
I personally ensured that we had sumptuous, freshly prepared canapes, finger food, kebabs and appetizers to pass around, as I feel that this is always one of the most important and well-appreciated elements for a successful event. The menu was accompanied with beverages expertly curated by our mixologists, who made bespoke drinks for each guest with skilful flair.
Cunard Press Launch
Location: On-board The Queen Victoria, Southampton, UK
Select press were invited to sample a pre-launch taster of the signature Indian restaurant, Aranya. This exclusive restaurant will be the culinary centerpiece of a new ship, Queen Anne. This the newest luxury cruise ship that joins the royal fleet of Cunard cruise liners.
The concept of Aranya was showcased to the guests, taking them through the carefully crafted menu. It features the best global ingredients and eclectic technique combined with well-preserved Indian traditions and authenticity in every dish served.
The Ship is scheduled to set sail in mid-2024.
The Italian Fashion wedding
Location: Castello Di Tabiano, Castel, Italy
This couple represent the top fashion brands in London.
Their glamorous wedding had about 200 guests in attendance.
To welcome their family and friends to the event, we served a carefully curated, premium afternoon tea. This was followed by a selection of welcome drinks and exceptional quality canapes. Later in the day we served a deluxe dinner with table service. After the cake cutting, the well-fed guests danced into the night!
Frequently asked questions
Do you have the event date available?
For a small to mid-format (50-75) social or corporate event or catering we can turn around quickly with informed specifications and details however, for a larger event or with more specific details we’d recommend a good heads up as it may involve more pre-planning and timely execution, in such scenarios we recommend 2-4 weeks upwards.
What determines the price per plate or What is your average per-plate cost?
Our menus and events are always bespoke, and we curate the event after carefully understanding and considering your needs and wants, hence the process may vary quite a bit with each element for its exclusivity and execution. Its best to discuss it over an arranged meeting with my team who can then prepare a working projected costs and will confirm back after all points have been accounted for a final quote submission.
Can you cater to any venue?
After a site-visit beforehand, we can confirm the feasibility of the event. Some venues only allow certain caterers, while other venues may charge you extra for choosing caterers that aren’t on their list of favourite caterers. Make sure you speak with your venue to avoid extra expenses! We do both on-premises catering, where food is prepared and served at the event venue, and off-premises catering, where food is prepared at a separate location and transported to the event venue.
How many guests can you serve?
From an exclusive corporate dinner of 10 to socials of over 1000 guests, we have the capacity of executing finer to larger social events rolling up to a few days too.
What are your specialties?
Along with my team and over 3 decades of my culinary career has spanned between 4 continents and during this time I have been responsible for Western, Asian, European, Mediterranean and popular regional Indian cuisines too. When need be, with my chefs connect, we can bring on international chefs’ par excellence too. I personally love showcasing, authenticity, eclectic, live cooking with interactive stations which offers greater gustatory & sensory experiences.
Do you have food packages?
We don’t do fixed packages as it limits the experience; however we craft it as per your desire, it’s bespoke and made to your specifications. This will allow you to decide what items you can incorporate into your menu. If you prefer flexibility or versatility in your food options, you can go to surprise your guests!
When do you need the final guest count?
We suggest a week heads up to receive the final guest count for our teams to deliver a smooth event flow especially when it’s a plated and a sit-down event. A variance of 10-12 % in case of buffet set up can be catered to with a short notice of 3 days.
Can we create our own menu for the event?
We are flexible and open to hear your suggestions and believe that’s it’s the best way to collaborate with your options and add a little creative and experiment with exciting different food ideas too.
Do you have options for dietary restrictions?
We are qualified, knowledgeable and are willing to arrange special food for a few of your family or friends due to allergies or lifestyle choices, kindly share this whilst discussing the events menus options as this will help us to accommodate and prepare these customized dishes.
Do you make wedding cakes?
We can arrange for specialists in wedding cakes.
What options of linens, glassware, plates, and flatware do you have?
We can arrange varied types of tableware, glassware and others as needed.
Do you provide bartenders?
We have qualified and experienced bartenders and mixologists to make sure your guests have a great time.
How much does it cost for children's meals?
Toddlers & children aged under 6 are free, children aged between 7-12 half price and over 12 years old, its full.
How long does it take your staff to set-up and break down?
Depending on the set up and décor expected, this may vary from 24hrs heads up and similar for breaking down. However, smaller event formats may take max 6-8 hrs each.
How much are your food tastings?
I recommend and appreciate the opportunity of tasting and experiencing the food we intend to serve. This allows for us to showcase the samples over the taste panel, followed with a 2-way discussion and agreement to committing to what will finally be served at the event. During this taste-panel we also take the opportunity to understand your expectations and recommend best, based on our expert experiences. We charge the basic costs for the taste panel, and this gets adjusted when the event is finalised. We generally invite 4 for tastings.
What is your payment policy?
We appreciate 25% on signing the contract followed with 50% of the payment 4 weeks before the event and the 25% balance a week before the event. Extras, consumption on actuals or as per agreed pre-pricing menu is requested to be paid at the end of the event. With the scale and registration date of the event, the payment structure can change, hence its best to confirm this during the meeting.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Its best to discuss this during the event meeting phase. With the scale of the event this policy changes, however, if cancelled a month in advance for a mid-sized event there is a 25% retention. 50% up to 3 weeks of the event. 75% up to 2 weeks to the event and 100% if its within 1 week. In certain situations, we can agree on adjusting the prepaid amount for a future date of the event (details to be discussed).
